Terms of Service

1. Agreement
By creating an account or using CertTrackr (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you agree on its behalf and represent that you have authority to do so.
2. The Service
CertTrackr helps you track third-party vendors' compliance documents (such as insurance certificates, SOC 2 reports, W-9s and licenses) and sends reminders before they expire. The Service is provided to assist you; you remain responsible for your own compliance decisions and obligations.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and be at least 18 years old. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service: no unlawful activity, no uploading content you have no right to upload, no attempts to breach security or access other organizations' data, and no reselling the Service without permission.
5. Subscriptions, trials & payment
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor. Free trials convert to paid unless cancelled before the trial ends. You can cancel anytime; cancellation stops future charges but does not refund the current period unless required by law. Prices may change with notice.
6. Your data
You retain ownership of the vendor information and documents you upload ("Customer Data"). You grant us a limited license to host and process it solely to provide the Service. We handle it as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the data you upload.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. CertTrackr does not guarantee that a reminder will be delivered, that extracted or entered data is accurate, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. It is not legal, insurance, or compliance advice.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CertTrackr and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any lapse, expiry, or compliance failure of your vendors. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or non-payment. On termination you may request export or deletion of your Customer Data as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
